TaskSheet is built by Hot Puffin Software. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data TaskSheet collects, how it is used, and your rights in relation to that data.
The short version: TaskSheet does not collect, store, or sell your personal data. Your tasks stay on your device and in your personal iCloud account.
TaskSheet itself collects no personal data whatsoever. The app does not include any advertising frameworks, or third-party tracking. The only third-party analytics used is the privacy-first Telemetry Deck service.
The following data is stored locally on your device and, if you have iCloud enabled, synced to your personal iCloud account:
This data is stored under your Apple ID and is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. Hot Puffin Software has no access to it.
If you use iCloud, your TaskSheet data is synced across your devices via Apple's CloudKit framework. This data is end-to-end encrypted and visible only to you. Hot Puffin Software cannot access your iCloud data.
You can disable iCloud sync for TaskSheet at any time in your iOS Settings app under your Apple ID → iCloud.
TaskSheet uses Apple's built-in, privacy-preserving crash reporting. If you have opted in to share analytics with app developers in your iOS privacy settings, we may receive anonymised crash logs to help us fix bugs. No personally identifiable information is included in these reports.
taskSheet used the Telemetry Deck analytics service. This service anonymises all analytics data allowing it to be used to improve app performance, but not relating back to the app's user. Their privacy policy is available at Telemetry Desk Privacy Policy>
TaskSheet contains no advertising. We do not share your data with any advertising networks.
TaskSheet does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app contains no features directed at children and no in-app communications with our servers.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
